Free shit, yo!

October 6, 2008

I am so exciting. Wait. Excited. That’s it. Jess at Angel Face Botanicals was super-nice enough to let me give away a sample-sized Chamomile Exquisite Creme from her line of skincare stuffs. This was the size I initially ordered and if you ask me, there’s plenty enough for a couple weeks’ worth of use so you can get a good idea. Plus seriously: It smells really, really good. I wouldn’t give it away if I thought it was crappy, fo’ real. (Admittedly, Jess has her own, superior giveaway contest running, but nobody said you can’t enter both, right?)

Please note that the contest is now closed!

And I’ll be having a giveaway involving my own Etsy stuff next month… hmm, just in time for the holidays, mirite?

    hey there Christie:)
I’ve got a Blemish Soother that you can use on acne and blackheads as a daily treatment. another great way to help clear your skin of those nasty beasts is to do an herbal facial steam which opens the pores and cleans them out— follow with a mask and your skin will be positively glowing:)

Hey, we finally “meet”. I’m a MDC stalker. Love the Den and all the ladies on it. Too shy to speak up, but with ya’ll on the TTC. I’d love to try anything that would help my skin. After getting off the bcp, my skin is like a teenager again, and not in a good way!

Hey-o! Christie, I don’t know… I really like what I’m using (which is a clay-based cleansing grain — PS Jess I love the Ayurvedic one, and it totally doesn’t smell like wet dog in the way I was afraid of with the clay thing — mixed with water or honey; witch hazel spiked with a tiny bit of TTO as a toner; then the Lavender Serum and Chamomile Creme). I would like to replace the self-made toner with something that smells nicer, but hey, it’s working for now and I’m kinda broke. I do plan to replace it with the lavender toner sometime soonish though. My skin looks clearer and healthier for sure — not just less zits/blackheads, but like it’s less “congested” overall if that makes any sense. And I think all of it is safe for TTC, which is something I was a bit concerned about.

Cindy, you are hereby obligated to post in the Den.

Yes, Cindy! Post in the Den!

(I almost typed Dan. I don’t know Dan, so I can’t say whether he’s worth posting in or not.)
